CONTINUOUS AND COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION
As per the CBS norms we have adopted CCE system to assess the students regularly. It is a process to provide
holistic profile of the learner through regular assessment of scholastic and co-scholastic domains of development.
This system aims at making evaluation of an integral part of teaching-learning process. It focuses on all round
development of personality of the learners. It will reduce anxiety and stress which often builds up if the students are
passed only once through one shot examination at the end of the year. It will result in highest levels of learning due
to timely diagnosis of learning gaps and remedial intervention. It will shift focus from need for learning to love for
For promotion to next higher class, the required minimum percentage of marks for each subject is as given below.
Nursery to STD –II 50%
For classes III to VIII 40%
There is a general library in the school. Students can read books in the library period with permission of concerned
teacher. Student from STD-VI and above are allowed to borrow books which they should return within seven days.
Any sort of making on the book is strongly forbidden and violation in this regard will be fined. In case of loss or
damage of books, double the cost of the book will be recovered from the borrower.
